21st Annual NASC™ - Registration up 16% over 2009

Lorraine Olson to receive Sol Lipkin Award

Pre-registration for the 2010 NASC™ is off to a fantastic start, with players from ten states already signed up. Ann Harrell was the first player to register this year, and the first pro to sign up was fellow Hoosier Bobby Voorhis. We are happy that Bob and Deb will be in attendance after missing the tournament for the last three years. Michigan and California have taken the early lead with nine players each.

We are pleased to announce that Lorraine Olson is being recognized for her many contributions to our sport as the recipient of the Sol Lipkin Award in 2010. It would be practically impossible to find anyone who is more unselfish than Lorraine and we are grateful for all she has done in support of shuffleboard in general and the NASC™ in particular. Congratulations Lorraine!

Sol loved people in general, but especially the ladies, and it was definitely feelings mutual.

The Shuffleboard Federation and the Sands Regency Casino Hotel recently signed a contract extension which will keep the NASC™ at the Sands through 2015. The 2009 Tournament kicked off with a complimentary all you can eat breakfast, which included bacon and eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, assorted pastries, juice and coffee. This was a huge hit and, as part of our new contract with the Sands, the breakfast has been made a permanent addition to the Tournament.

If you are planning on attending the tournament, but have not signed up yet, you can register online with a credit card or PayPal by clicking http://www.2010nasc.com.

To print Tournament forms and information, please use the following links: Registration Form, Schedule of Events, and General Information. If you have never been to the NASC™, there has never been a better time to find out why, over the past ten years, more players have attended the NASC™ than any other tournament.

If you need help making air or hotel reservations, or have any questions about the tournament, please call The Shuffleboard Federation at 800-380-3033.
