Ron Vogt
Ron and Gwen Vogt formerly owned the Balloon Inn in Arvada, Colorado. They were responsible for supporting and growing the game of shuffleboard in the Denver area all through the 1990's. Ron and Gwen sponsored teams and played every year in the N. American Championships in Reno as well as hosting tournaments at the Balloon Inn. They also ran local shuffleboard leagues. Anyone who played in Reno or Vegas in the 1990's knows Ron and Gwen.

It is with great sadness we must tell you that Ron Vogt passed away this morning at home from cancer. Ron was diagnosed only a month ago, so this is quite a shock to all of his friends and family.

Ron and Gwen had moved to Wyoming after they sold the Balloon and started a new business there and loved their new life. If you would like to send condolences to Gwen, the address is P.O. Box 6741 Sheridan, WY 82801.

He will be remembered fondly and missed by all of the Colorado shuffleboard players.

Char Waugaman asked that we contact you to let others in the shuffleboard family across the country know.
