The Eagles Lodge 3911 in Houston Missouri held its 11th annual Hall of Fame tournament on Sept 18-20 . There were 60 registered players for the week-end, Offering in the tournament is AB draw, Bring Partner, following up with a singles tournament.
AB draw which had 17 teams. Coming out on top were 1st place Randy (Cotton) Walker & Justin Sparks both of Houston Mo. 2nd place Tony Mcnew of Success Mo. & Terry Russell of Kansas City, 3rd place going to Tyler Sparks of Houston, Mo. & Manny Lane of Pocahontas, Arkansas, 4th place Alben McDonald of Kansas City & Melissa Dunn of Houston, Mo.
Friday was the bring partner event which included 2 divisions. Division 1 had 18 teams and Division 2 had 9 teams..
Division 1 winners are 1st Place father & son team Willie Walker & Randy Cotton Walker both of Houston, Mo.with Willie moving up a division, 2nd Place went to Melissa Dunn & Charlie Riley both of Houston with Melissa also moving up a division. 3rd Place went to Jim Payne of Stockton Mo. and Justin Sparks of Houston, Mo. Justin also moving up a division. 4th place went to Andy Friedhofen & Roger Ellison both of Springfield.
Division 2 winners, 1st Place brother team Mike Prichard & Steve Prichard, 2nd Place another brother Larry Prichard of Mountain Grove Mo, and Donna Pearcy of Pocahontas & 3rd Place going to Anthony Russell & Barbie Gray both of Kansas City....
Immediately following the bring partner event was the singles which had 22 players fighting for the top spot, this tournament ended at 4:30 am Sunday morning, taking top honors 1st Place Doug Paben of Dallas Fort Worth, 2nd Place Mark Gray of Kansas City, 3rd place Mick Moran of Mountain Home, Ark. & 4th Place to Barb Head.
Tournament director, Delane Moore did another great job running this tournament, and he would like to thank Becky Leier, Angie Moore and Keitha Ellison for taking care of the registrations. Melissa Dunn and Mark Gray auctoneering. Club Manager Dennis Hebblethwaite and his staff for taking care of all the participants and everyone else that helped make this tournament a huge succes.
The Lodge kept us well fed through the tournament starting with Friday evening Bob Trimble grilling Fillet Mignon and the Ladies Auxillary preparing all the trimmings, baked potatoes,salad, cakes, cookies , brownies....
Saturday morning breakfast cooked up by our fine auxiliary. A real feast girls, then Saturday afternoon grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, with all the good side dishes....Thanks Chuck & Dohrla, President Rob, and secretary Don.......
