bring team shuffleboard tournament at Doc's Shuffle Inn, in Stockton
MO. We had six great teams show up for the event. Two each from St.

The weather was terrible, but the shuffleboard was excellent.
Each match was hotly contested and everyone seemed to have a great
time. In the end, St. Louis captained by Jerry Romay with team members
Larry Romay, Jimmy and Donna Dunn, Mike Simpson and John Boyer took

shooting great like she did, she is going to fit right in with the
The final game came down to a rubber match with St. Louis winning
15 -14. This gives St. Louis two wins out of the first three years.
Third place honors went to last years winner, the team out of Kansas
City. The team members were Mark and Barb Gray, Glen and Sandy Tubbs,
Bob Duer, and Gary Ferrou. This tournament is truly unique, and is
one of the more enjoyed tournaments of the year. each year the competition
gets better and better, and the matches become more closely contested
As always, Missouri Shuffleboard players prove to be the greatest
group of people I have ever been associated with. The sportsmanship
and caring for their fellow players is awesome and unique to this
game. I want to thank everyone for participating in the tournament,
and for the special contribution to help with the sewer repair. You
guys are the BEST !
